Mother's Day Celebrations, Read & Pick, PYO Asparagus & Spring Farm Fun at Terhune Orchards

Mother's Day is this Sunday! What more wonderful way to celebrate Mom than with an afternoon of wine tasting and fresh open air in the Wine Orchard? Moms can enjoy $2 off tasting flights all weekend long.

The whole family is welcome here at Terhune Orchards. After wine tasting, visit the barnyard and farm store, and take a stroll down the farm trail. Enjoy live music from 1-4pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Don't miss two fun events this week: Sips & Bouquet evening on Friday for the grownups, and Mother's Day Planting Make 'n Take on Saturday for the kiddos!

Pick Your Own Asparagus Continues

Pick Your Own Asparagus is still going strong! Visit the farm any day this week from 9am-5pm to discover this delicious spring crop. Asparagus grows straight up out of the ground, and picking is easy and fun for the whole family!

Sips & Bouquet Evening

Fri May 8, 5:30-7:30pm

Make Spring flower arrangements in the winery! Perfect for mothers, grandmothers, or table centerpieces for Mother’s Day Weekend. Enjoy Terhune’s own wine as you enjoy making spring arrangements. Price includes flight of Terhune wine, flowers, mason jar container, and all materials needed.

$50 per person. Light bites available for purchase.

Mother’s Day Planting

Make 'n Take

Sat May 9, 10am-12pm

In this Mother’s Day program, our youngest gardeners will have hands-on fun making their very own planted gift. Kids can pot and decorate a flower (or herb) pot and take it home for their mom or grandmom along with a homemade card.

Attendees should plan to arrive anytime between 10-11:30am. The event ends at noon.

Schedule Spring School Tours & Barnyard Birthday Parties

Your school group can explore what happens on the farm in spring, including the life cycle of plants, the importance of flowers and pollinators, the water cycle, and soil health. Each child will plant seeds to take home and watch them grow. At the end of the educational component, your group will have access to the barnyard and farm activities.

Bring your child's spring birthday party to Terhune Orchards for a unique celebration they'll never forget. Children will enjoy feeding the barnyard animals and experiencing all that Terhune Orchards has to offer!

Spring Trivia Continues

Next Thursday May 14, 5:30-8:30pm

The spring series of Winery Trivia continues! Test your knowledge, have fun, and win prizes with D.J. Iron Mike in the Terhune winery. Rounds will include categories such as General Knowledge, Entertainment, History & Geography, Sports, Name that Tune.

Grab your team and come out for a fun evening! No cover charge; trivia kicks off at 6pm. Don’t miss the last date in our spring series, June 4.
