Winfield’s Founder Hiding in Local Stores
Every month during Winfield’s 150th anniversary year, Colonel E.C. Manning will be hiding with the Winfield 150 logo in Winfield’s B.E.S.T. Retail stores. The lucky shopper to find him will win $150 in Chamber Checks.
The Winfield Area Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the logo hunt in conjunction with Winfield’s Sesquicentennial Celebration and to support local business. A cutout cartoon image of E.C. Manning will be hidden in a B.E.S.T. retailer each month. When found, the cutout should be turned into the front desk where a store employee will take your photograph and direct you to the Winfield Chamber at 123 E. 9th Avenue to collect your $150 in Chamber Checks. The checks can be spent at any of the chamber’s 250+ members.
