Through My Lens

May 2017

We all look at life through our own lens

Being a mother and a grandmother is a joy and a privilege. Watching a little life grow into the man or woman they were created to be is the most rewarding and the most difficult job we will ever have. However the rewards last a lifetime. May you enjoy those precious little souls that have been given to you to love and to nurture.  Happy Mother's Day.

Motherhood

Being a mother is forever.

It goes on year after year after year.

You share their smiles but you're also there

To wipe away their tears.

It's a job without any training.

You learn it as you do go.

Mistakes you make plenty of

Emotions are high - then low.

If babies weren't so cuddly

They would be easy to leave behind.

But when we go away from them

We almost loose our mind.

Yes, motherhood is forever.

Even when your children are grown.

You think about them all the time

Even when they're on their own.

They have clung to me all my life."
