Lay Eucharistic Ministers: With our Deacon’s departure, we require an increased number of helpers at the front to assist with the communion service. If you’re interested in volunteering as Lay Eucharistic Ministers, please contact Father Aaron at aaron@mtcp.org

Christian Churches United will be hosting the 2026 United in Love Conference on Saturday, May 16, at Camp Hill United Methodist Church. Men’s Breakfast Group 2025-2026

Mt Calvary Men’s Breakfast Group meets the second Saturday of every month from October through May. We meet at the church and start at 8:30 and end at 9:30. Coffee and breakfast bites are available. Our meetings are a combination of prayer, sharing about ourselves and a discussion of "Secrets in the Dark”" by Frederick Buechiner. It is a celebrated collection of sermons, essays and talks spanning the author’s career, revealing his deep engagement with themes of faith, doubt and personal experience.

You may choose to buy the book, but it is not necessary as our group leaders will introduce the chapter(s) and then open it up for discussion. It’s a great opportunity to get to know other men at Mt Calvary and to have some God centered dialogue with other men. We welcome new members! For questions, contact Dean Wharton at 717-329-1200.

MCP Women’s Study Group: We are underway in our Women’s Study Group, and we have been having meaningful and rich discussions with both laughter and tears! You might enjoy these wonderful gatherings, too! We meet at 6:45-8:00 on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month downstairs in the Undercroft. Our next book will be A Tree Full of Angels by Macrina Wiederkehr, which we will being discussing at our next meeting on April 22. We hope to see you! Questions? Please call Marcia Wharton, 717-728-6322.
