Men’s Breakfast Group 2025-2026
Mt Calvary Men’s Breakfast Group meets the second Saturday of every month from October through May. We meet at the church and start at 8:30 and end at 9:30. Coffee and breakfast bites are available. Our meetings are a combination of prayer, sharing about ourselves and a discussion of "Secrets in the Dark”" by Frederick Buechiner. It is a celebrated collection of sermons, essays and talks spanning the author’s career, revealing his deep engagement with themes of faith, doubt and personal experience.
You may choose to buy the book, but it is not necessary as our group leaders will introduce the chapter(s) and then open it up for discussion. It’s a great opportunity to get to know other men at Mt Calvary and to have some God centered dialogue with other men. We welcome new members! For questions, contact Dean Wharton at 717-329-1200.

Our next book will be A Tree Full of Angels by Macrina Wiederkehr, which we will being discussing at our next meeting on May 13. We hope to see you! Questions?
