Stormwater runoff can carry with it pesticides, fertilizers, dirt, and other pollutants. Smart landscaping choices can help reduce the runoff from your property and improve the overall health of your yard! Things like not mowing your lawn too short, testing your soils prior to applying fertilizer, and using native plant species are all things you can do to help reduce runoff pollution from your yard!
