17th Annual Sweetgrass Festival
The Town celebrated the rich Gullah culture with the 17th Annual Sweetgrass Festival on Saturday, July 24. Over 50 vendors, live music, entertainers, and sweetgrass basket makers enthralled residents and visitors with their unique talents. If you missed the festival, a photo gallery is available. We are looking forward to next year's festival already.
Waterfront Music & Movies
Mount Pleasant residents and visitors can bring blankets and chairs and sit back to enjoy a movie under the sunset, with the Ravenel Bridge and Charleston Harbor for a backdrop. Vendors will be onsite to fulfill your summer cravings and keep you cool.

Dates to look forward to: August 6, August 13, August 20, and August 27. Music and food sales begin at 6:00 p.m. Movies will start at 8:30 p.m.
Just Launched: Shop Mount Pleasant's Official Store
The Town of Mount Pleasant has just launched its official online store. Now you can take the magic of Mount Pleasant with you anywhere you go. Shop a wide variety of shirts, hats, and lifestyle products.
RIBBON-CUTTING CEREMONIES
De Lux Nail Spa
Owners Tuyen Truong and Hoa Duong and Manager Kim Duong joined by family and staff, together with Mount Pleasant Council Member Kathy Landing, along with Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce Director of Development Rebecca Imholz, attended the July 2 ribbon-cutting ceremony for De Lux Nail Spa, located at 1440 Ben Sawyer Blvd. Suite 1103.
