Welcome to our Monthly MCI Updates email! We will be sharing the latest updates from MANNA and Feeding America on MCI, MANNA-wide stats, and monthly focuses for our agencies.

SPOTLIGHT: 6-Month Data Snapshot

Soon agencies will start receiving a Data Snapshot once you have been on the MCI platform for at least 6 months. In this report you will find:

Big wins for your agency and/or areas for growth.
Distribution data focused on understanding key data points about your neighbors, including age, SNAP participation, frequency of use and more.

MONTHLY FOCUS: Check-In Survey Results

Thank you to everyone who completed the recent MCI Check-In survey!

Your feedback is so helpful as we work to refine training and advocate for platform improvements. Check out some highlights from the survey below:

We are excited to see that 90% of responding agencies have observed benefits from MCI, like quicker intake and reporting, using data to apply for grant opportunities, and an improved experience for both neighbors and volunteers.

Agencies expressed interest in pre-recorded training videos, and they are in the works! These will be a great reference tool for existing volunteers, and a way to quickly train new volunteers.

Agencies requested improvements for checking in returning neighbors with no information changes. We are currently working with Feeding America to create a better experience around this part of the intake process.

Reminders

If a device powers down or gets overheated, you can use a smart phone to complete intake. Just visit: network.neighborintake.org and enter your agency's access credentials. If not connected to wi-fi, data rates may apply.

If for some reason you are unable to complete live intake in MCI, you can always back-date entries to ensure all of your neighbors and visits have been captured. Click here for instructions on back-dating entries.

MCI automatically deactivates holiday events. If your agency will be hosting an event this Labor Day (Monday, September 1st), it will need to be reactivated from Admin settings. Click here for instructions on updating an event schedule in MCI.

Feeding America Feature Updates + Fixes

Enhancements:

To enhance platform security, MCI now requires Multi-Factor Authentication to complete a password reset, meaning users will need to have a valid phone number or email address. Users without a valid phone number or email address will still be able to request a password reset from admin users. New passwords must be at least 14 characters.

Account administrators can now edit events on a specific date, without editing an entire event schedule. Possible edits include changes to the Title of the Event, and the ability to set Event status as "Inactive".
