For 50 years the Tree of Giving, the Fluke Corporation, and the Mount Baker
Council have been making a
difference in the lives of the those within the community.
Throughout our community, there are numerous people facing many ch
allenges who don
'
t receive
Christmas or holiday gifts. W
e
'
re hoping, through your generosity, that you can make it a bright
holiday
for them.
For 50 years, the Fluke Corporation has partnered with the Mount Baker Counci
l Boy Scouts and the
Everett Mall to bring the Tree of Giving to life. This year we hope t
o bring smiles to over 1000 people
from Snohomish, King and Skagit counties. To get involved, simply
visit the Everett Mall and select a tag
from one of the multiple trees throughout the mall. Purchase the
gift and put it under the tree. Each
gift should be gift-wrapped with the gift tag attached. These gifts benefit
people in senior centers,
children in group homes, homeless teens, as well as cancer and brain damage v
ictims in rehabilitation
centers, who would not normally receive a present without the community
's
generosity.
The deadline for gifts is 10 pm on Monday, December 17
th
. Join the Scouts of the Mount Baker Council
on the evening of Wednesday, December 19
th
as they sort and deliver the gifts to the community
organizations.
The annual Tree of Giving is an opportunity to make a difference in our co
mmunity.
We hope you will join the Mount Baker Council, BSA, the Fluke Corp
oration and the Everett Mall in the
spirit of giving this holiday season.
