Climate Justice Conference
From Sustainability to Climate Justice is a new Mountain-designed program that took place May 20–25, 2018. The week was filled with Inspirational sessions, guided meditation, dharma talks, music to explore our feelings relating to personal beliefs and actions for climate justice. ...Plans are underway for the next “climate justice” conference on The Mountain -- August 4-9, 2019.

Summer Farm & Forage Tours
We have been having a wonderful time hosting our foraging tours this summer! In July, the
Many Hands Peace Farm partnered with
Yoga Highlands on a Foraging and Yoga Excursion event. Later in July, the Farm staff hosted a farm and forest to table foraging dinner for a group of local guests.
We've been blessed to have large harvests of wild Chicken of the Woods mushrooms, Chanterelles and Black Trumpets this summer. These are all gourmet mushrooms that we've been able to sell at market and serve to our guests.

Silent Auction 2018 Begins Soon
Plans are underway for our 2nd
Spirit of The Mountain Silent Auction event. You can help us reach and exceed our $3,000 goal by donating items and bidding on others. We are currently seeking your donations of vacation property rentals and hosted B&B get-aways. In September we will start the bidding on these "big ticket" items, and begin accepting themed gift baskets for onsite bidding in October and November.

Introducing Farm Camp 2019!
Watch for updates about the new Many Hands Peace Farm Camp in the coming weeks. Our new Farm Camp 2019 is being designed as a week-long overnight camp program for youth ages 12 to 17 years. Campers will stay in cabins and spend time each day learning about different aspects of sustainable farming and living in addition to traditional camp and outdoor activities. Campers will learn where their food comes from and how to evaluate their relationships with food through enriching experiences of planting seeds, growing gourmet mushrooms with paper waste products, and enjoying a healthy harvest.
