Building our summer staff team

By Christine Bailey, Program Director – A/U Ranches

Each spring, we love to see God’s goodness unfold as we hire seasonal staff. It's such a joy to hear why returning staff want to come back. And it’s exciting to meet new faces, watching A/U Ranches journeys begin in front of us.

We have a strong collection of staff so far for 2026 – and we still need more to join the team! Spread the word: We need counselors, program heads, CITs, and support staff. Help make this another incredible summer!

Welcome our new full-time staff members!

Welcome Erin Demaree!

Erin is a familiar face at the A/U Ranches, spending the last two summers working in the corral. She now joins us full time as a wrangler ranch hand. We're grateful to have her continued support around the corral!

Welcome Tavio Gamboa!

Tavio is new to the A/U Ranches, and so is his dog, D'Artagnan! His addition to camp rounds out our facilities team, and his expertise is already making an impact. We're glad to have him aboard.

Beyond the summer: How working at camp opens doors

The blessings of working at camp don't end when the summer does. In this video, former Mosaics counselor Ashley Packard reflects on how her CIT experience created opportunities beyond camp – and why being able to communicate those skills matters.
