We're happy to announce t he 24th Annual Celebration of Leaders Awards Dinner will be held at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View at 6:00 pm on March 1, 2019. This annual event recognizes and honors outstanding businesses and individuals for their professional and personal achievements, outstanding work and dedication to the community. This event will also include 8 local non-profits who will honor their Volunteers of the Year. Scroll down to see this year's honorees.

Scholarship Mountain View Applications Now Open
Scholarship Mountain View is a scholarship program available to high-achieving high school seniors with financial need who seek to attend college or a trade school. The scholarship application can be found here .

Everything must be submitted (the student application, transcripts, two letters of recommendation) by 11:59pm on March 1, 2019.  Therefore, the student must enter the above contact information in plenty of time for the contacts to submit these items. (If any items are not submitted before the deadline the application is deemed incomplete and may not be considered for a scholarship award.)

Grand Opening of Mountain View Community Center
February 23, 2019 | 10:00am - 12:00pm | 201 South Rengstorff Ave., Mountain View

The City of Mountain View invites you to the Grand Opening and Dedication of the newly renovated Mountain View Community Center on Saturday, February 23 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. This new state-of-the-art facility is the host to a brand new Social Hall, four multi-purpose/conference rooms, two dance and fitness rooms, and the City’s Preschool program.

Join us for the Dedication Ceremony, complete with Ribbon Cutting and Community Photo, at 10:00 a.m. Following the ceremony, we invite you to tour the new facility, check out our Summer programs at our Summer Camp Fair in the new Redwood Hall, and participate in a variety of activities for both youth and adults. Scheduled activities will be announced on our Facebook Page as we get closer to the date. Light refreshments will be served.

The Mountain View Community Center is located in the heart of Rengstorff Park at 201 South Rengstorff Avenue. City of Mountain View is accepting applications for: Human Relations Commission, Downtown Committee, & Performing Arts Committee
Applications will be accepted until 4:00 p.m. on February 22, 2019 in the City Clerk’s Office at 500 Castro Street, Mountain View, CA 94041

The Council Advisory Bodies are volunteer positions and serve in an advisory capacity to the City Council.
