Important Move-In Information

Dear Incoming Residents,

We are excited to welcome you to Granville Towers this fall for the upcoming 2023-2024 academic year. The Move-In Guide can be found here for your convenience!

The Move-In Guide serves as your go-to resource, providing valuable information and helpful tips to ensure a smooth and enjoyable transition into your new home away from home. This comprehensive guide covers everything you need to know, including amenities, the step-by-step move-in process, useful links to the Guidebook and our social media, and even a property map.

The move-in period is from August 15th to August 20th. You will get an email by July 14th at 10pm with the SignUpGenius link to sign up for your move-in appointment. Instructions for how to sign up for move-in appointments (and how to change your move-in appointment) are linked here. If you need to move in earlier than August 15th, please complete this form to submit your early move-in request. Please contact our Resident Manager, Deshaye Tingling, at [email protected] if you have any questions regarding early move-in.

New Student Orientation Update

Due to large attendee volume, we are switching the location of our New Student Orientation session to the auditorium of the FPG Student Union on Day 2 of Family Orientation (1:15pm-2pm).

Additionally, we wanted to make it clear that you should not skip the "A Community of Care" session that follows our info session to visit Granville Towers. To better serve our customers and process lease change requests, we are only offering tours of the model room and other amenities from 2:40pm-3:30pm, or after the closing ceremony. How to Make a Payment

Please be aware that we do not send invoices. Payment amounts are listed on page 2 of your student's lease. Instructions for how to make a payment can be found here, and a step by step guide of making payments via the Resident Portal can be found here.

NOTE: Your Resident Portal will not show an amount due until July 1, because that is when the lease charges hit your account. Therefore, you will need to know how much you owe by consulting your lease agreement. Instructions for accessing your lease can be found here.

Important Dates

Deadline to cancel your lease with no financial penalty for students who chose not to go to UNC, but were accepted into UNC.

Last chance to submit a meal change request through the Lease Change Request form in your Resident Portal.

RoomSync preferences (and requests for all-female floor) due.

First payment (whether you pay by semester or by month, or have a Deferred Payment Agreement) is due.

Deadline to cancel your lease with no financial penalty for students who were not accepted into UNC.

Room assignments come out via the Resident Portal.

Upload Granville ID photo.

Proof of liability insurance due. You must wait until room assignments come out to obtain liability insurance. Further communication will be forthcoming.
