Move United Junior Nationals

Volunteer Opportunities

Junior Nationals is the largest, long-standing annual multi-sport event in the United States for youth with a physical, visual, and/or intellectual impairment who are classifiable under the International Paralympic Committee’s classification system.

It is a weeklong national sport championship event taking place July 16-22 in Metro Denver, CO and we can’t do it without YOU! Sign up yourself and get 10 others to volunteer at the 2022 Move United Junior Nationals presented by The Hartford. Questions?

APRIL IS MOVE MORE MONTH

Celebrate with Move United OnDemand!

For the month of April, Move More in the OnDemand platform and athletes will earn badges and a chance to win a Move United prize package.

Do you have athletes that are workout enthusiasts, training for an upcoming competition, or looking to start an off season workout regimen? Move United OnDemand has fitness classes for wherever and whatever level your athletes are at.

All participants with a disability will receive a Move United OnDemand Fitness Kit.

MEET MOVE UNITED

Jacob Tyree

TRAINING COORDINATOR

Joining the Move United team in 2022 as our Training Coordinator, Jacob oversees the management of VA Adaptive Sports Training Grant funded programs. He works closely with network and industry partners to elevate training opportunities for adaptive sport providers as well as support various education projects and initiatives. Jacob brings with him a vast amount of experience in the adaptive sport space as an athlete, coach, and sport professional. Jacob played collegiate wheelchair basketball at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Communications with a concentration in Technology. He has international coaching experience in Japan as well as Peru, and founded the Roanoke Stars Wheelchair Basketball program in Virginia. In his recreational time Jacob enjoys bonsai, gardening, video games, and competing in wheelchair basketball and tennis events.
