MEMBER ENGAGEMENT SESSION:

Mission Control; Why Esports can be a great comunity tool

April 12th | 2 PM EST

Whether you realize it or not, your community is filled with gamers. 216M Americans play video games, 46M of whom have a disability. Americans are drawn to video games because they’re fun and engaging to play. They can provide a nice mental break after a long day at work or school. And for 83% of gamers, they provide an outlet to them for community. This is why there’s a great opportunity to introduce esports—the structured, competitive playing of video games—as a new program for your organization. As an organization that already provides ongoing opportunities for competition and camaraderie, esports provides a new digital, accessible, and scalable way to engage new and existing athletes, better understand the community that you’re serving, and even introduce a new revenue stream.

Join our partner Mission Control, a community platform for recreational gaming, to learn more about video games in America today and how you can begin to offer esports programming for your community today.
