Thank you to all of you who joined us for the 2023 The Hartford Nationals! This year we hosted 396 athletes who competed in archery, para powerlifting, paratriathlon, shooting, swimming, track & field, and wheelchair tennis. These athletes hailed from 44 different member organizations and 35 different states. Check out the RECAP VIDEO.

In 2024 The Hartford Nationals will be held in Hoover/Birmingham, AL July 13th-19th. Mark your calendars!

NOW SEEKING 2025-26 BIDS

Move United is seeking bids to host The Hartford Nationals for the 2025 & 2026 competition years.

A strong host city will be able to deliver an outstanding event for athletes, coaches, family members, supporters, and the general public. Host cities should have accessible venues and hotel properties, be attractive as a vacation destination, and be an affordable location for athletes and families attending the national championship event.

This annual event in July dates back to 1957 and over 550 athletes and coaches, 300+ volunteers, as well as families, friends, and spectators will bring the event to life in 2025 and 2026.

Bids submitted from Member Organizations in partnership with other member organizations, local sport organizations and/or city partners are strongly encouraged.

Bre has worked with Move United since 2013, and as the Member Services Manager, Individuals she manages the individual membership programs for youth, adults, and military, including the Move United Warfighters Ambassador program. A 2013 graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a degree in Recreation, Sport, and Tourism, Bre found her passion of adaptive sports through working as a camp counselor and managing the collegiate wheelchair basketball team. Bre is an avid Cubs fan from the Southside of Chicago and spends her free time at sporting events, with her dog, or attempting to build things as a power tool novice.
