The 2023 Move United Education Conference will be held May 15-17 in Louisville, KY, focusing on a theme of “Disability Inclusion in Sport: Transforming Intent to Action.”

MOVE UNITED SANCTIONED COMPETITIONS YEAR IN REVIEW

The 2022 Move United Sanction Competition season has officially come to a close. This season saw 1384 unique athletes compete in 24 events across 20 states. Click here to see a highlight reel of the season. Learn more about the 2022 season in Review.


We look forward to 28 sanctioned competitions in 2023 across 22 states including Move United Nationals in Hoover, AL July 8-15.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT GROUP HUDDLE

December 21st | 4:00PM EST

Move United Member Huddles are designed to foster community within the Move

United member network. Huddles allow members with commonalities to gather on a

regular basis. These groups are intended to share information and best practices

and encourage community building and connection. There will be opportunities for social networking, mentorship, and

education.


Move United is inviting professionals from all active member organizations who have been in the field for 0-5 years (full-time or part-time) to join our new Professional Development Member Huddle.

Education Hub


Move United has recently launched courses on its new Learning Management System called the Education Hub. Head to hub.moveunitedsport.org to check out the FREE courses that were rolled out over the month of November. To kick off the launch, we have shared courses focusing on effectively using the Inclusive Playbook, Curriculum, Activators, and supplemental resources in your programs and local schools. Stay tuned for more exciting content in the pipeline!

MEET MOVE UNITED

Ryan Semke

Insurance Program Manager

Ryan started as an intern with Move United in September 2014. Upon completion of his internship, he returned to Springfield College and graduated in May 2015 with a degree in Sport Management. In September 2015, he returned to Move United and hasn’t looked back. He is now a member of the Member Services team, overseeing the Insurance Program and Sport Protection Policy. Ryan is a firm believer in the positive effects that sports can have on someone’s spirit, mind, and body. Ryan is from upstate New York and is an outdoor enthusiast. He currently has his PSIA-AASI Adaptive Snowboard Level I Certification and enjoys spending his time hiking, sitting by a fire, and going on adventures with his wife and their rescue pup Gunner.
