Created in partnership with USA Football master-level trainers and Move United, it contains information on how to set up your space, what drills to run, how to increase them in progression for more skilled players, what to budget for, and more. It has everything you need to run a clinic with your pre-existing volunteers.

Join U.S Paralympics Swimming to learn how to use what you already know and do as a swimming coach. This clinic is designed to provide coaches with a deeper understanding of the USOPC and U.S. Paralympics Swimming and how to move a para swimmer up the pipeline. This clinic will be presented virtually via Zoom. To attend, register below. Please enter a valid email address to ensure you receive the clinic session link. All registrants will receive a presentation link on February 27, 2022 at least 2 hours prior to the start of the session.

Adaptive Sports Abuse Prevention Training Conference

ASAP is a sexual abuse prevention training program for staff and volunteers of adaptive sports organizations. It is one of the few abuse
prevention education programs that addresses the unique realities of athletes with disabilities. This two day conference will qualify you to teach the ASAP curriculum in your organization.
Conference registration is FREE of charge.

Grant Opportunity
Survivor Adaptive Sports Fund
The Survivor Adaptive Sports Fund offers adaptive sports grants for people with permanent physical disabilities who have been victims of gun violence or acts of terrorism in the U.S.
Grants ranging from $3,000 to $7,500+ are available to eligible Move United member organizations. The amount awarded will be based on participants served by September 15, 2022.
Application Deadline: Friday, February 25, 2022 at Midnight ET

Susan Rossi
COMPETITIONS DIRECTOR
|
Susan Rossi is a mission driven sport and rehabilitation professional with 22 years of knowledge/education, experience, and established relationships in the Paralympic and adaptive sports industry, including Adaptive Sports USA and the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee. She holds a BS from the University of Kansas in Exercise and Sport Science and a Masters in Nonprofit Leadership Management from Arizona State University. In addition, Susan is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist. Susan resides outside of Denver, CO with her husband, and elementary-aged daughter and son. She enjoys being outdoors and recreating in the Colorado sun, traveling and exploring new territory with family and friends, eating delicious ethnic food and live music.
