Join us May 9-11, 2022 in Colorado Springs for the Move United Education Conference. 40+ sessions offered by a diverse group of athletes, sport professionals, and sport providers.
Registration will launch mid-March. Move United member organizations will receive discounted access to registration.

Move United Junior Nationals
|
Sport pushes what’s possible for people with disabilities, confronting ignorance, fueling conversation, and inciting action that leads to a world where everyone’s included. This is one of the goals of Move United Junior Nationals presented by The Hartford. Now in its 38th year, Move United Junior Nationals, scheduled for July 16-22 in Metro Denver, Colorado, is the largest and longest-standing national sport championship event for young athletes with a physical disability, visual and/or intellectual impairment through the age of twenty-two.

Wheelchair Football Coach Training
|
Looking to start a wheelchair football program? Take the first step by attending one of three Wheelchair Football Coach Trainings hosted by Move United this year. Trainees will learn the keys to teaching the wide range of physical skills involved in football in a progressive manner consistent with current USA Football teaching methods.
Trainings are free of charge to Move United Member Organizations and will take place April 29-30 in Tampa, FL, June 11-12 in La Crosse, WI and July 9-10 in Salt Lake City, UT.

Adaptive Sports Opportunity
Invitation to Partner with Move United
The Department of Veterans Affairs recently announced a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for the 2022-2023 Adaptive Sports Program for disabled Veterans. For more than 10 years, Move United has been awarded large scale awards under this grant program.
Eligible Member Organizations are welcome to apply.
Deadline: Friday, March 4, 2022 at Midnight (ET)

VA 2022 - 2023 Training Opportunity
|
The Department of Veterans Affairs recently announced a Notice of Funding Opportunity for the 2022-2023 Adaptive Sports Program for Disabled Veterans. For more than 10 years, Move United has been awarded large scale awards under this grant program.
In addition to our recent invitation for all member organizations to apply under our programmatic application, we are also inviting member organizations to host instructor training and education events under a second training focused application. Member organizations may apply under both Move United's programmatic and training applications.

Dana Dodge
MEMBER SERVICES COORDINATOR
|
Dana joined the Move United team in 2022, and as the Member Services Coordinator, she engages current chapter members, on boards new member chapters and acts a resource for all things chapter member related. She comes to Move United after 6+ years at New England Disabled Sports, a long time chapter member of Move United, as their Operations Manager. Dana has a B.S.Ed. in Physical Education with a concentration in Adapted Physical Education from SUNY Cortland. She continued on to get her M.S.Ed. in Outdoor and Environmental Recreation Education as well as a Certification of Advanced Study in Therapeutic Recreation from SUNY Cortland.
