We invite Move United member organization representatives to attend these sessions to meet/engage with the Move United team as well as network with other professionals in the industry. The Exhibit Hall will have a table set aside for Member Organizations to display program resources (brochures, pamphlets, stickers, etc.) as well as a separate table for career/internship options that may be available at your organization. Please bring along information to share at these tables!

It's almost that time again! Every June Move United members are asked to renew their membership. Here are the items you can expect to be requested:
Member Dues
Affiliates $500, Chapters $250, Adaptive Clubs $200, Inclusive Clubs $150, Event Partners $50
Member Agreement
Outlines the details of membership, including what members can expect from Move United, and what we expect from members to be in good standing
Member Survey
Measures the network’s impact across the country, which helps us in leveraging future funding, sponsorships, and developing policy, etc.

THE HARTFORD NATIONALS CONDUCTED BY MOVE UNITED REGISTRATION LIVE! | |
Athlete, coach, and volunteer online registration is NOW LIVE through June 26 for The Hartford Nationals conducted by Move United!
The competiiton lineup includes archery, para powerlifting, paratriathlon, shooting, swimming, track and field, and wheelchair tennis plus many socials, clinics and education sessions. Please spread the word to your network that may benefit from engaging in this national championship event for youth AND adults with physical, visual and/or intellectual disabilities.
Special thanks to the Move United Member organization in Alabama, Lakeshore Foundation, for all the support and enthusiasm in planning and preparing for The Hartford Nationals conducted by Move United. MEMBER ENGAGEMENT SESSION:
Synergy and Team Building for Leaders
| May 25th | 12:00-1:30PM EST | |
This session is a look into leading and participating on effective teams by focusing on the strengths of each individual. Learn how to observe and diagnose teams using productivity and cohesion roles to increase productivity, defuse conflict and drive synergistic actions and improved business outcomes. Think about your strengths and how you influence and contribute to teams.
- Discuss key elements in the selection and formation of teams, including best practices for developing synergy
- Discuss and develop activities that encourage cohesion among team members, collaborative problem-solving, and open communication environments
- Identify, understand, and mitigate common conflict management and tensions in developing teams
This session will be led by Linda Clark. Linda Clark is an expert in her field with many years of experience, and she has the ability to provide meaningful insights into the topics that will be discussed during this session.

Succession Planning

If the most active member of your team were to walk away tomorrow, would your organization come to a screeching halt or begin a chaotic scramble to figure out the next steps? Are you prepared to guide your organization through both expected and unexpected transitions of team members?
If the thought of losing and replacing essential team members makes you nervous, this session is for you. Join Mandy Pearce from Funding for Good as she outlines strategies to ensure that your mission can move forward productively, even during transitions.

Bill Snyder
Chief Financial and Operating Officer
| Bill joined Move United in 2010 and splits his time between financial management and overseeing operations. He brings more than 20 years of experience in nonprofit management to the team. Bill grew up in Northeast Pennsylvania and is married to Becky; they live in Germantown, MD with their children Elizabeth and Billy. Bill holds an undergraduate degree from Penn State University and a graduate certificate in nonprofit studies from Johns Hopkins University. Bill loves hiking and enjoys watching Penn State football. He is currently trying to keep up with his son in Karate. | |
