Move With The Cloud!!! 10/9/24
Numbers 9:19-23 (KJV)
19 And when the cloud tarried long upon the tabernacle many days, then the children of Israel kept the charge of the LORD, and journeyed not.
20 And so it was, when the cloud was a few days upon the tabernacle; according to the commandment of the LORD they abode in their tents, and according to the commandment of the LORD they journeyed.
21 And so it was, when the cloud abode from even unto the morning, and that the cloud was taken up in the morning, then they journeyed: whether it was by day or by night that the cloud was taken up, they journeyed.
22 Or whether it were two days, or a month, or a year, that the cloud tarried upon the tabernacle, remaining thereon, the children of Israel abode in their tents, and journeyed not: but when it was taken up, they journeyed.
23 At the commandment of the LORD they rested in the tents, and at the commandment of the LORD they journeyed: they kept the charge of the LORD, at the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses.
An OLD, OLD SONG I used to sing and play goes like this:

7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.
Man, I dislike this Verse-I HATE TO WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I HATE when I find myself with “nuttin” to do, NUTTIN to read or watch, no goals or aspirations, little or NUTTIN to look forward to..............
Can you say STUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
“REST in the Lord, and WAIT PATIENTLY for Him!!!!!!!!!!!”
Please note the Hebrew definition of the Word PATIENTLY-just a sampling I italicize:,

Let me reprint the “to twist or twirl, to WRITHE in pain, to PERVERT, to GRIEVE, be in PAIN, be wounded, travail (WITH PAIN) of the children of God in their FORTY YEAR JOURNEY to the Promised Land:

Can WE even imagine their plight!!!??? Living in a tent in the middle of NOWHERE!!!
Not knowing where they are or even where they were going???? No familiar landmarks, NOTHING to do, no job or purpose other than to “twiddle their thumbs!!!”
NO internet, NO TV, NO football games................ O THE HORROR OF IT!!!!!!!!

TWO DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!??????? OR A MONTH!!!!!!!!????? OR A YEAR!!!!???????????
THEY had to just “abide in their tents, and journeyed NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
That, my beloved, is the definition of WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Perhaps I am speaking to YOU today?? YOU find yourself today seemingly TRAPPED in a dead end situation. Nowhere to go, no light at the end of the tunnel-TRAPPED!!!!
YOU want desperately to do something-ANYTHING-ANYTHING BUT................
