Flower Drum Song

Treat yourself to this musical and visual delight of a classic Rodgers & Hammerstein romantic comedy which will pull you into a maze of whimsical twists and turns through the streets of San Francisco’s Chinatown. Mei Li is a newly-arrived Chinese mail-order bride whose fiancé wants to marry another woman…and the intrigue continues from there. Based upon the 1958 Broadway play, Flower Drum Song explores timeless themes pertinent to immigrant groups such as conflicts between traditional and adopted cultures as well as clashing values among different generations.
