As Bloom Senior Living, a family-owned and operated company for over 50-years offering Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care, moves beyond COVID-19, it's clear that family ownership matters as we emerge from the pandemic just like it mattered during the pandemic! Bloom is a company our residents and families trust!
Bloom's family model (and ownership's intimate involvement in operations) not only ensured Bloom one of the first senior living providers in the Country to close its communities and conduct on-site testing early in the pandemic (to keep its residents safe), but was one of the first providers in the Country to loosen restrictions (and permit group programming, dining, inside / outside visitation, family and resident outings, etc.), while ensuring the residents receive priority access to the vaccine, coming out of the pandemic! Bloom's transparency and consistent / repeated communication during the past year has been praised. Indeed, the Bloom family has been featured by the Wall Street Journal and New York Times for their expertise and perspective.
The Bloom owners continue to drive the ball forward. Bloom communities continue to loosen restrictions; 100% of its communities commenced vaccination (80% completed vaccination); 95% of is residents have been vaccinated; and zero residents have COVID-19! Bloom's handling of COVID-19, and ability to return to a normalized environment, is a success story!
Part of that success is attributed to the Bloom culture among its residents, associates, families and owners, which has never been stronger. Bloom is a happy, family environment full of laugher, love, care and peace of mind. With the loosening of restrictions and vaccine rolled out throughout Bloom, the Bloom owners have been on-site in South Carolina, Ohio, Florida and Indiana over the last month visiting with residents, new families and local teams, while hosting resident town halls and rolling out new and exciting programs!
