JILL KLEINMAN SCOPE Board Member Jill Kleinman has been dedicated to working with kids and giving back for her entire life. With a background in economics and a desire to work with children, Jill owned a children's book and toy store before becoming owner and director of Camp Taconic. At camp, Jill oversees the operations and enjoys working closely with campers and counselors to provide positive and well-rounded camp experiences year after year. Jill believes that all children deserve access to the magical experience that camp provides, which is why she has integrated SCOPE into the Camp Taconic experience. Jill has included campers, staff and camp families in making SCOPE an integral part of Taconic's camp culture and tradition through engaging initiatives that help to give back to SCOPE. As the inaugural camp to receive the SCOPE Philanthropic Camp of the Year Award in 2018, Jill plays a crucial role in organizing Taconic's annual Strides4SCOPE walk-a-thon, raising over $100,000 in just four years! As a 2-year SCOPE Benefit Chair, event committee member and committed SCOPE board member, we appreciate Jill, her family and the Camp Taconic community for their ongoing support for SCOPE and the children who benefit from their efforts! CAMP JORN YMCA, WISCONSIN SCOPE Midwest Camp Jorn YMCA has made a commitment to ensure a positive and safe camping experience for each child who attends their summer program.
