Newsletter September 2019
Much of the feedback we received was about how transformational the Battle has been in your own lives “life changing;” “totally changed my life;” “life transforming.” These are just a few phrases we frequently heard. You said there is a “universal need” f or the things taught through Battle; that the “opportunity for heart discovery is profound;” and, that “nothing has connected me to the heart of God like the Battle for your Heart!” As one alumnus shared, “I think most people do not realize how much they have shut down their hearts (myself included before I began the process) and it is life-changing to wake it back up."
You’ve also shared that you want others to join you in the Battle, yet specific constraints keep you from extending invitations: time or schedule constraints, financial barriers, difficulty building teams, to name a few.

And that’s where the Reaching the Next Generation initiative (and you!) steps in!
As our team focuses on strategies to increase the impact of the Battle, you can look forward to increased integration of technology with our Battle registration process, retreat experiences, and the follow-through process. We’re also considering ways you can interact more flexibly with the Battle process. We recognize a “one-size-fits-all” approach isn’t going to cut it for the diverse populations we want to serve!

Maybe we’ve got you thinking now or have sparked some interest inside of you…
Is there some feedback you’d like to share with us about your own experiences of the Battle process?

Are you interested in learning about how you can play a part in reaching the next generation ?

If so, please email Laura for more information. We’d love to hear from you!
In 2018 as we began to dream of what it looks like to Reach the Next Generation of Wellspring participants, the Lord opened a door for us to pursue special funding through the Kingdom Investments ministry of Perimeter Church in Johns Creek, GA. With a vision to multiply kingdom-based investments through matching funds towards kingdom growth, Kingdom Investments granted us a $50,000 matching grant in August of 2018.

We were humbled by their willingness to come along side of us and take part in the dream to increase accessibility and impact. They specifically invested to see new materials developed, inviting men and women into greater understanding of their heart and who God created them to be.

As equally exciting, I am thrilled to share that we have seen this grant matched above and beyond the $50,000 request. This matching portion has empowered us to move through Phase One of the initiative and further clarify what you, our people, are wanting more of!

Thank you to each and every one who has played a part in this assessment phase through surveys, focus groups or interviews. Your feedback is valuable. And thank-you to our Financial Partners who have invested above and beyond your regular giving to help us reach or matching goal. We are eternally grateful!
If you are interested in considering ways you can be a part of God’s financial provision to support this specific initiative outside of our general fund giving, please feel free to contact me at .
