Monday, September 7- Labor Day Closing
The library will be closed on Monday, September 7 in honor of Labor Day. We will resume regular hours on Tuesday, September 8.
Renewing Library Services- Chapter 3
On Monday, August 31, WFBPL will begin Chapter 3 of Renewing Library Services, "Moving Forward @ WFBPL." Our new hours for this Chapter are as follows:

  • Friday-Saturday- 12-4PM
  • Sunday (beginning on September 13) - 12-4PM

Please keep your library visits to 30 minutes or less. A limited number of study tables are available for a single person’s use for 1 hour a day. Library computers are available for up to 1 hour per day. Thanks for protecting staff and other patrons by wearing your mask. (Masks are required and we can provide you with one if you don’t already have one.)

Whitefish Bay Public Library has partnered with Tutor.com to provide you with FREE online tutoring to support your academic success this school year. The experts at Tutor.com can help you work through a tough homework problem, improve your writing skills, study for a test, review a difficult concept, and so much more!

Tutors are available every day from 12-7PM. To use this resource you must be a resident of Whitefish Bay with a valid library card.
Letter to Students and Their Families
The Whitefish Bay Public Library aims to provide excellent library service and to work to keep our community safe during these unprecedented times. We do so by following various state and national guidelines and recommendations which has resulted in changes to how we offer library services. We want to share how the library will serve you and your family as we enter the 2020-2021 school year within the boundaries of our current service model.

Friends of the Whitefish Bay Library Used Book Room Now Open!
Looking for a few good reads? Check out our Friends used book room. We ask that only one person or family group shop at a time. Payments can be made by cash (exact only, no change given), a check, or touchless credit card payment.
Friends of the Whitefish Bay Library Donations Day
Saturday, August 29, 10AM-12PM
Friends of the Whitefish Bay Public Library will accept donations of books, music and media this Saturday from 10 a.m. – noon in the Library parking lot.
You can drive through the library parking lot and drop off your donations. When full, the containers will be moved into the library for quarantining and replaced with fresh ones. A Friend will be on hand to answer any questions but please plan on placing your donations into the containers yourselves.
Please wear a mask during this process and practice social distancing.
Reminder: We’re always accepting donations of used padded mailing envelopes. We re-use them to mail out our eBay sales. If you have some for us, please bring them by on Saturday, the 29th.
