Summer Camp Opportunities Promote Education
It's been an amazing month to Move Forward with SCOPE!
This week, we're highlighting some supporters and partners who give our work purpose and we're lucky to have their support :)
SAM ROBERTS
SCOPE Board Member

Sam Roberts joined the SCOPE Board of directors after attending a SCOPE event in the Midwest. Sam was inspired by the national impact of SCOPE's efforts and jumped right in to do what he could to infuse SCOPE with opportunities for growth, development, and cause for celebration. Since that time, Sam has become an integral part of SCOPE's various committees, he co-chairs our Strategic Planning Committee, sits on our Finance Committee and plays an active role on our Benefit Committee. Sam's experience working within nonprofit camping as well as his experience with Camp America, managing relationships between camps and international staff has provided SCOPE with Sam's invaluable perspective helping us to push boundaries and elevate our efforts.

Since joining the board, Sam has helped pave the way for SCOPE to define our process for long-term support of Northeast SCOPE campership recipients to gain access to college scholarships through the Sanford Lavitt Education Fund. Making not only camp accessible through SCOPE support, but college too! Sam's dedication to children is remarkable and we are proud to celebrate his ongoing support for SCOPE camperships and college scholarships!

David Welles, creator of The Yobow is a camp guy through and through. When he developed this amazing product, he and his partner wanted to be sure they found a way to make an impact not only through their product but through relationships with various nonprofits.

Enter, The Yobow, a portable mini massager, that has become the type of item you didn't know you need in your life, but once you have it, you love it. KIDDIE KEEP WELL CAMP,
NEW JERSEY
SCOPE Northeast

Founded in 1924, Kiddie Keep Well Camp is one of the oldest camps in the nation. It is one of the few camps in New Jersey that offer medical, dental and wellness care as a vital component of their camping programs. They aim to provide a fun, active residential camping program and make a lasting impact on our campers. All of KKWC’s services are offered completely free of charge to Middlesex County campers and their families.
Camp, Now More Than Ever
Children receiving SCOPE camperships have opportunities to learn new skills, connect with nature, and develop a sense of independence that can only come from being away from home – these gifts help them succeed at summer camp and beyond.
Summer Camp Opportunities Promote Education
SCOPE (Summer Camp Opportunities Promote Education) provides children from
underserved communities with life-changing opportunities through the experience
