Vol. 2, Issue 42
Dear Lakeside Community,

It is with a lump in my throat that I share that I'll be leaving Lakeside as I've accepted a position in another district. Working closely with the board, we are outlining a transition plan so that the work in Lakeside continues in a seamless manner.

I wanted to thank you for a great school year so far. Our students come to school focused to learn and your support has been evident. Even with an uncertain future, pending the outcome of Measure A, I can't thank the staff enough for its dedication and love for each of your students. They care deeply and provide positive guidance every day for every child.

I wish you all the best of luck. Lakeside is truly a special place and I'm confident that Measure A will provide the stability needed to set Lakeside on a trajectory of long term success.

The board has rescheduled the board meeting for Tuesday, January 17th at 6:30 pm. An item will be on the agenda to discuss a transition plan for the remainder of the school year. If you have any specific questions, please let me know.

All the best,

Interim Superintendent & Lead Learner
