Moving Update!

We’re about to get a move on!

We’ve been chomping at the bit to share with you the news about our move to the new Kennett Library & Resource Center.

Starting Thursday, May 11th, we will only be open for holds pick-up at the current library (216 E State Street).

What does that mean?

Holds pick-up only means no other services will be available. You’re more than welcome to come into the lobby to pick up holds and return books. Curbside pick-up will also be available. Please call us with questions at 610-444-2702. You can also email [email protected] or [email protected].

During this time, our hours will remain the same:

Monday, 9 am - 8 pm

Tuesday - Wednesday, 9 am - 5 pm

Thursday, 9 am - 8 pm

Saturday, 9 am - 4 pm

Sunday, CLOSED

We’ll be packing up the books, computers, chairs, and tables and moving everything down the street to our new address: 320 E State Street.

What does this mean for programs?

Until we are up and running in the new building, all programs will occur off-site or virtually. Please check the calendar to stay up to date. Stay tuned for more information coming shortly!

We plan to offer holds pick-up in the new building sometime after May 18th, so check the website and social media often.

We will open to the public on June 26th, and our Grand Opening Celebration will take place on August 27th, so save the dates!
