Greetings!

Greetings from Mexico! How have you been?

It’s been a whirlwind since my last update — You can catch up here! I meant to send this update weeks ago, but honestly, I’ve barely had a moment to catch my breath!

Between several moves (international, interstate, and local), multiple trips to Mexico and Florida, launching a new project GSFW to empower women to share their stories, and collaborating as MC and panelist at the Gala of Gulf Coast Latin Chamber of Commerce it’s been quite a whirlwind.

And through all that chaos, I’ve still been doing what I love most: lending my voice to meaningful projects. From telephony systems to pharmaceutical narrations, live recording sessions in Florida, for Disney and other small business. Special thanks to Tim from THE SOUND ASYLUM and Kelly and Tom from SECOND SOL STUDIOS for allowing me to use your fantastic studios! I also did some creative translations for marketing campaigns and storytelling for art installations — it’s been a busy and fulfilling season. One of my favorites was Magic Grasshopper the new public artwork by Yvette Mayorga, presented by Times Square Arts — such a fun collaboration!

Below you’ll see a few photos from these adventures — and three out of the four moves so far!

Picture above, moving #2: My son returned from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with his degree in Physics Engineering—the easiest move of them all!

Stay tuned—next month I’ll reveal Move #4, the last one!

New Around Here?

Welcome! I’m so glad you’re part of the journey. Scroll down to the Bienvenidos section for a special shout-out.

Thank you for reading, watching, and being part of my journey.

See you next month!

Warmly,

Nydia

Yep, that's me between boxes, again!

Pics below: Moving #3 — Our daughter’s big move to college!

The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) just got a little brighter with her creative spirit and energy. So proud of this new chapter she’s beginning — and excited to see where her art takes her next.

Her moving supposed to take a couple of hours but actually took a couple of days, lol!

On the trenches...

Cooling down and catching up…

In collaboration with the Gulf Coast Latin Chamber of Commerce,

I had the honor of serving as one of the Masters of Ceremonies at this year’s Gala Event, a wonderful evening celebrating community, connection, and shared success.

Moderating the panel “Women Who Shape a Male Perspective”

A dynamic exchange with four brilliant professionals, exploring how men and women can build understanding and progress together.

On the trenches again...

A heartfelt thank-you to Tom for making the studio booking happen at the last minute — your support made all the difference.

Adding the final touches to our home — including a new water softener after the fire! 🔥

After three years of repairs, challenges, and countless details, we’re finally almost done. Feeling deeply grateful for this new chapter and all the lessons along the way. To learn about the fire, click the red link (after the fire) above.

Do you produce or cast political spots?

I’d love to be part of your next campaign! Political projects are some of my favorites — they let me bring intensity, conviction, and authenticity to every message, whether it’s the voice of a journalist, a passionate advocate, or a character with grit.

If you’re looking for a voice that can connect, persuade, and move voters among the Hispanic Market, request my NEW Political Demo or a set of custom political samplers — just reply to this email and I’ll send them your way.

Carly Lupou from Hive Studios-Laughlin Constable, Bryan Bennet from Sugar AI Baby, Christina Daniels from Times Squares Arts, David Townsend from Scholastic, Kelly Moricca, Jaqueline Minnick and Vesna Vijatov from Snow Co.
