October 30, 2026

Join us this All Saints Sunday as we gather in worship to remember and give thanks for the faithful saints who have gone before us, whose lives of love, service and devotion have helped shape our faith. We will honor the memories of our loved ones, celebrate the lives that have touched our hearts and be reminded that we are surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses who inspire us to live faithfully as we follow Jesus.

Michael Turner, Senior Pastor, will be preaching in the Auditorium for the Contemporary Worship services; Rachel Carosiello, Adult Discipleship Pastor, will be preaching in the Sanctuary for the Traditional Worship services.

For those worshiping remotely, you're invited to watch our services online, on Facebook and YouTube.

Charge Conference

We want to invite everyone to our annual Charge Conference next Tuesday, November 3 at 6:30 PM. The Charge Conference is intended to be more than simply a business meeting. Erik Grayson, our Superintendent of the South Carolina Conference of the Global Methodist Church, will be here to preside as we celebrate the ways God has moved in our midst in the previous year. We will also talk about goals and future plans. We hope to see you there!

Confirmation Registration

Confirmation is a special season for our eighth graders. It’s a chance to take meaningful steps toward full membership in the church and to share their faith with our congregation. If your student is in eighth grade, we’d love for you to join us for a Parent Information Session next Sunday at 12:30 in the Student Room. Register today at mthorebchurch.org/confirmation. Summer Camp and Student Mission Trips are also open for registration, and you can find everything by visiting mthorebchurch.org/students.

Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child collection is still happening! You can drop off your shoebox all this week and again next Sunday. If you haven’t picked up a box yet, grab one outside the worship spaces on your way out. If you'd rather shop from home, you can build a box online. Thank you for giving so generously.

Membership Class

Whether you’re exploring Mt. Horeb or ready to join, you’re invited to our Membership Class next Sunday from 3-5 PM in Room 861. You’ll have the opportunity to join at the end of the class or come back to a future class if you’d like more time or info. Register at mthorebchurch.org/membership or through the Mt. Horeb app.

Baptism Class

Our Baptism Class for all ages is happening next Sunday at 5 PM in Room 861. As Global Methodists, we believe baptism is an outward sign of the inward work God is doing in our lives, and because His work is perfect, we practice one baptism. If you or your child has never been baptized, or if you’d like to learn more, we’d love to have you join us. After attending the class, you can choose from one of our upcoming in-service baptism dates. This class covers both sprinkling and immersion. Register now at mthorebchurch.org/baptism or through the Mt. Horeb app.

Surviving the Holidays

Holidays can be some of the most difficult days after your life has changed. This November, Mt. Horeb is offering two seminars to help you through this season.

Surviving the Holidays, sponsored by GriefShare®, offers a time to learn how to deal with grief during the holidays while remembering our loved ones together. This will be held on Tuesday, November 17 from 6:30-8:30 PM in the Student Room. To register, contact Lynn Ullman at care@mthorebchurch.org.

For those experiencing separation or divorce, Surviving the Holidays, sponsored by DivorceCare®, meets Wednesday, November 18 from 6:00-8:00 PM in Room 547. To register, contact Doreen Michaels at care@mthorebchurch.org.
