May 8, 2026

As we prepare to celebrate Mother’s Day this Sunday, we want to take a moment to honor and celebrate all the incredible moms in our church family. Whether you are a biological mom, adoptive mom, stepmom, grandmother or a spiritual mother who faithfully pours into the lives of others—you make a difference, and we are so grateful for you. Your love, strength, prayers and daily sacrifices reflect the heart of God in powerful and beautiful ways. Thank you for the countless ways you care for, encourage and support those around you. This Sunday, we look forward to celebrating and honoring you!

Trevor Miller, Faith Formation Pastor, will be preaching in the Auditorium for the Contemporary Worship services; Bill Bouknight, Retired GMC Guest Pastor, will be preaching in the Sanctuary for the Traditional Worship services.

For those worshiping remotely, you're invited to watch our services online, on Facebook and YouTube.

Family Worship Sunday

We hope to see you next Sunday for a Family Worship Service featuring our kids’ choir and members of our student worship team leading us for worship. We encourage you to bring your family to worship with you this Sunday. We will also be recognizing our graduates and all they have accomplished!

Staff News

Recently, it was announced to staff and Mt. Horeb students that, on July 1st, Chris Morgan will be transitioning off the Student Ministry Team as High School Coordinator and moving into the position of Pastoral Intern on his way to eventually becoming a Campus Pastor of Mt. Horeb. In the eventual Campus Pastor role, Chris will be tasked with launching a future campus of Mt. Horeb in a new location. Chris has been taking classes at Asbury Seminary and is pursuing ordination in the Global Methodist Church. Over the next several months as Pastoral Intern, he will be working in many Mt. Horeb departments learning the inner workings of each. Chris and his wife, Hailey, are excited about this new adventure and we are excited for them and all that God will do through them.

New Series - Spirit-Led

Next Sunday, we begin a brand new series called Spirit-Led: God’s Daily Presence. The Holy Spirit isn’t just something to understand; He is God’s presence with us and in us every single day. Yet many believers either misunderstand His role or miss out on the life He empowers us to live. In this series, we’ll discover what it truly means to walk with the Holy Spirit in everyday life; learning to recognize His voice, experience His power, grow in spiritual fruit and live out the gifts He’s placed within us. God didn’t just save us, He filled us. And when we begin to live aware of and responsive to His presence, everything changes. Join us next Sunday as we step into a Spirit-led life.
