While every person is created by God, the Bible makes a distinction between creation and adoption. Jesus teaches that those who believe in Him are given the right to become children of God. Being part of His family isn’t automatic - it’s a gift received through faith in Christ. Join us this Mother's Day as we talk about what the Bible actually says about the phrase, "We are all God's children."

Grace Marie Ward, Worship Arts Director, will be preaching in the Auditorium for the Contemporary Worship services; Trevor Miller, Faith Formation Pastor, will be preaching in the Sanctuary for the Traditional Worship services.

Food Drive

Each summer, while we break from our normal Backpack Ministry, we make it a point to provide the families from our local school district struggling with food insecurity with a month’s worth of shelf-stable foods through an annual food drive. There is a card on your seat or near you with the items that are needed this year. If you are able to contribute even one item, it makes a huge difference to the families we serve! We’ll be collecting the food on Sunday mornings, May 18 and 25, or you can drop off your donation at the Missions Ministry porch May 12-25 during office hours.

Senior Adult Luncheon

The next Senior Adult Luncheon will be held on Tuesday, May 20 at 11:30 AM in the Student Room. Lunch will be catered by Jim Albergotti. Our entertainment will feature Christian singer, songwriter, author and speaker Dawn Smith Jordan. The cost of the luncheon is $15 per person, and registration is required by Friday, May 16. Sign up to save your spot here.



VBS 2025

We already have over 1,300 kids registered for VBS and we are needing some amazing adults to serve alongside them to help them experience the best week of the summer! Would you prayerfully consider serving as a crew guide that will lead them through the different stations that they will take part in throughout their time with us. BEHOLD Conference

Gather with us for a special conference full of Biblical teaching, passionate 

worship and encouragement from other believers across the state. From the main sessions to the breakouts, this is a time to grow in your faith while gaining wisdom from others serving in ministry. BEHOLD Conference has been designed for church members, volunteers, leaders and all interested in growing in their love for God 

and others. We are honored to host this great event here at Mt. Horeb Church for 

the Global Methodist Church in our state, and we invite you to attend July 25-27.
