April 17, 2026
The resurrection doesn’t just transform individuals—it creates a whole new kind of community. In Christ, the barriers that once separated people are broken down. Jew and Gentile, insider and outsider, enemy and stranger are brought together into one family. Paul says Jesus Himself “is our peace.” Through His death and resurrection, Christ has torn down the walls that divide us and is building a new spiritual house where God dwells. As we celebrate baptisms this week, we are reminded that baptism marks our entry into this new family. When we are raised with Christ, we are also brought into His people.
Trevor Miller, Faith Formation Pastor, will be preaching in the Auditorium for the Contemporary Worship services; Michael Turner, Senior Pastor, will be preaching in the Sanctuary for the Traditional Worship services.
For those worshiping remotely, you're invited to watch our services online, on Facebook and YouTube.

GO Weekend
Go Weekend is Here — and We Need YOU!
This weekend, Mt. Horeb is stepping out to serve our community — and we want you to be a part. Together, we get to show our neighbors what it looks like when the church becomes the hands and feet of Jesus.
Here’s what we’ll be doing: completing handyman projects for local families, serving single moms with free oil changes, stocking care closets at Title I schools, partnering with Mission Lexington, hosting a neighborhood block party and welcoming home a missionary family with a housewarming shower.
Ready to serve? Sign up now at mthorebchurch.org/goweekend to join a GO Weekend project. No experience needed—just a willing heart. Let's go make a difference together!

Baptism Class
Our Baptism Class for all ages will be held on Sunday, May 3 at 5 PM in Room 861. As Global Methodists, we believe that baptism is an outward sign of an inward work that God is doing in our lives and because God’s work is perfect, we believe in only being baptized once. If you or your child is someone who has never been baptized or if you’d like to learn more about baptism, please plan to attend. Once you attend, you can choose from one of our scheduled in-service baptism dates. This class is for all those wanting sprinkling and immersion. Register at mthorebchurch.org/baptism.
