There are countless phrases we’ve all heard that sound biblical, but when taken out of context, they miss the authors intentions. Many well-meaning half-truths have been passed down through generations, but when we take a closer look, we find that the Bible actually teaches something different. In this "Half Truths" seven-week series, we’ll examine some of the most common “Bible-sounding” phrases, compare them with Scripture and discover what God’s Word really says.

Jeff Kersey, Pastor Emeritus, will be preaching in the Auditorium for the Contemporary Worship services; Chris Morgan, High School Coordinator, will be preaching in the Sanctuary for the Traditional Worship services.

Columbia Worship Gathering

DivorceCare

We have some wonderful congregational care ministries here at our church that help provide support through various stages of life. One of those ministries is DivorceCare. 

Whether newly separated or divorced for years, DivorceCare is a safe place where caring people come alongside you as you find healing from the pain of this difficult life experience. DivorceCare meets on Wednesdays from 6:00-8:00 PM in Room 547. This is a 13 week program that begins on April 30. For more information, contact Doreen Michaels at (414) 477-9120.

Blood Drive

Did you know that every two seconds someone in the US needs a blood transfusion? Your blood donation could save a newborn infant, someone bring treated for cancer or someone who has been in a serious car accident. It may be a sister, brother, parent or baby of someone you know. Concerts At Mt. Horeb

We're excited to have the chart-topping band, We Are Messengers, joining our Concert Season on Friday, May 9. VBS 2025

We’re excited to share that just over 1,200 children have registered. 300 volunteers have said YES to guiding those children as they explore how to trust Jesus in a wild world. 109 of those volunteers will be morning and afternoon adult crew guides. We do need quite a few more of those to provide the best and safest experience possible for each child at VBS. Please consider serving as a crew guide and getting to hang out with these wonderful children!
