March 13, 2026

Before Pilate, Jesus was declared innocent yet sentenced as guilty. Barabbas went free while Jesus took his place. In this powerful exchange, we see the heart of the gospel: the sinless Savior became sin for us. This week highlights how Christ takes our guilt and replaces it with grace, offering forgiveness, freedom and new life to all who believe.

Grace Marie Ward, Worship Arts Pastor, will be preaching in the Auditorium for the Contemporary Worship services; Stephen Fitch, Congregational Care & Assimilation Pastor, will be preaching in the Sanctuary for the Traditional Worship services.

For those worshiping remotely, you're invited to watch our services online, on Facebook and YouTube.

Hymn Ring

You’re invited to a wonderful afternoon of music and worship! Join us tomorrow, March 14 at 3:30 PM in the Auditorium to hear Mt. Horeb’s Common Bond Handbell Choir present a special “Hymn Ring.”

This joyful event will be more than just a performance—it’s a time of praise and participation as we sing along together to some of our most beloved hymns while the beautiful sound of the handbells fills the room. It’s the perfect opportunity to pause, worship and enjoy uplifting music with friends and church family.

Whether you love hymns, handbells or simply a meaningful time of worship, this will be a special afternoon you won’t want to miss.

Bring a friend and come enjoy this inspiring time of music and praise together!

Membership Class

Whether you are seeking information about the church or are ready to join, you are invited to attend our Membership Class on Sunday, March 22 from 3 to 5 PM in Room 861. Those who wish to join the church will have that opportunity at the end of the class, and those who are not ready yet can return to a future class for additional information and/or to join. You can register at mthorebchurch.org/membership or through our Mt. Horeb app.

Baptism Class

Our Baptism Class for all ages will be held on Sunday, March 22 at 5 PM in Room 861. As Global Methodists, we believe that baptism is an outward sign of an inward work that God is doing in our lives and because God’s work is perfect, we believe in only being baptized once. If you or your child is someone who has never been baptized or if you’d like to learn more about baptism, please plan to attend. Once you attend, you can choose from one of our scheduled in-service baptism dates. This class is for those wanting sprinkling or immersion baptism. Our next immersion baptisms will be on Sunday, May 3. Register at mthorebchurch.org/baptism or through our app.

Easter at Mt. Horeb

Make plans to join us for Easter week here at Mt. Horeb. Our Maundy Thursday service will be on April 2 at 6:30 PM in the Sanctuary and we will have our Easter services on April 5. There will be a sunrise service at 6:30 AM in the Sanctuary. Then we will have Traditional Services at 9:30 & 11:00 AM and Contemporary Services at 8:00, 9:30 and 11:00 AM. Please note the time differences between these services. We hope that this will help accommodate our growing services this Sunday. We know this will be a wonderful celebration of our risen Lord that you won’t want to miss! For more information visit mthorebchurch.org/easter.
