May 2, 2025

Culture encourages us to follow our hearts, but the Bible warns that our hearts can be deceitful. Instead of being led by fleeting emotions or desires, Jesus calls us to deny ourselves, take up our cross and follow Him. This week we'll discuss how true fulfillment comes from obedience to God, not chasing our own whims and that the Bible warns that there’s a way that seems right but leads to destruction.

Trevor Miller, Faith Formation Pastor, will be preaching in the Auditorium for the Contemporary Worship services; Stephen Fitch, Evangelism & Assimilation Pastor, will be preaching in the Sanctuary for the Traditional Worship services. Graduation Sunday is May 4. If you are a graduating senior, wear your cap and gown for the 9 and 10:45 AM services in the Auditorium. There will be rows reserved for you.

For those worshiping remotely, you're invited to watch our services online, on Facebook and YouTube.

VBS 2025

We already have over 1,300 kids registered for VBS and we are needing some amazing adults to serve alongside them to help them experience the best week of the summer! Would you prayerfully consider serving as a crew guide that will lead them through the different stations that they will take part in throughout their time with us. Crew guides are needed for the morning and afternoon sessions. Visit mthorebchurch.org/vbs to serve.
