Mueller Hinton II Agar (low concentration of thymine-thymidine with adjustment of Ca++ and Mg++) is a medium recommended for antimicrobial susceptibility testing of common, rapidly growing aerobic microorganisms by the disc diffusion technique (Kirby-Bauer method), as standardized by the Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI) and the European Committee on Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing (EUCAST).

Mueller Hinton Fastidious Broth

Mueller Hinton Fastidious Broth (MH-F broth) consists of ready-to-use, cation-adjusted MH broth supplemented with 5% lysed horse blood and 20 mg/L β-NAD. This medium is recommended by the European Committee on Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing (EUCAST) for MIC determination by the broth microdilution method of Streptococcus spp. (including S. pneumoniae), Haemophilus influenzae, Moraxella catarrhalis, Listeria monocytogenes, Campylobacter jejuni and coli, Pasteurella multocida, Corynebacterium spp., Aerococcus sanguinicola and urinae, Kingella kingae and several other fastidious organisms.
