Trualta

A few years ago, we were given the ability to share with caregivers a website/portal called Trualta. While a good number of caregivers have opted to sing up and log into the educational offerings, I wanted to try this year to offer a sample of what you will find on Trualta so if you are signed up but not accessing or if you've never looked into it, these articles will encourage you to engage or take the opportunity to sign up. Check out Worry Too Much? Here's How to Make a Worry Plan. Let me know what you think!

A very Happy Valentine’s Day to all of you! Remember that your love and dedication changes the lives of those you care for, every day.

Upcoming Events

  • Celebrate Valentine's Day with the Mug Club Caregiver Support Group - Wednesday, February 14, 2024
  • Virtually: 10 - 11 a.m. Please Note: the virtual group will be changing formats and moving from WebEx to Microsoft Teams starting in March. We will use a portion of the February meeting to make sure everyone can get connected. I am working on instructions to walk you through this changeover and will send them out to the regulars. If you haven't been attending virtually but would like the instructions, let me know and I will include you with the group. If this would be your first time joining us, please connect with Teri at (920) 448-4320 or [email protected] to make sure you get the link for the meeting!
  • In-Person: 5:30 - 7 p.m. In person at ADRC, 300 S Adams St, Green Bay. The agency will be closed for the day and the doors locked. Please come to the single door entrance (south side) and ring the doorbell. We will be watching and listening to let you in.

  • Powerful Tools for Caregivers
  • 2024 Class Schedule
  • If you haven't taken the class yet, I encourage you to consider making the time to. Both you and your loved one will benefit from what you learn. If you have taken the class, please share the flyer with another caregiver you know!

  • FEMA Helps us get Winter-Ready
  • FEMA cold weather resources are available. Visit the FEMA Winter Ready page to understand winter risks and steps to prepare for them. Because the risks from winter weather affect people differently, the page includes low-cost tips for keeping houses warm, tips for older adults, and more. Visit them here.
