This talk will delve into what can lead to inappropriate polypharmacy, common drug interactions, and how you can be empowered as a patient or caregiver to identify these potential problems before they happen. Register Here.

  • When Relationships Change While Caregiving - We are still looking for interested caregivers to participate in this group. We started the first session, but Brittany and James are wondering if there is enough interest to warrant them writing a grant to get another group or two together.
  • Here's what this group is about: Are you struggling to make sense of your changing relationship due to caregiving? Taking over the finances, responsibility for cooking, handling outside chores, home maintenance, etc. The reversal of roles, taking on tasks that your loved one used to do but can no longer handle, can be a very big adjustment.

You could be grieving or struggling with ambiguous loss. When a loved one dies, there is usually closure. Ambiguous loss is different because closure is not possible, and your grief cannot be resolved while the person you are caring for is still alive. We invite you to join this limited term support group.

During this time, we will discuss the losses we experience while caregiving, what grief is, different types of grief, and how we can help work through it and still be kind to ourselves. The group is led by James Jozwiak, MSW, APSW, & Brittany Maas, MSW, APSW, from Foundations Counseling.

If you would be interested in attending this limited term support group, let Teri know ASAP and you will be added to the interest list and notified when the next sessions are scheduled. Please also indicate if you would like to attend in person or virtually.
