Mug Club Caregiver Support Group - Wednesday, 11/13/24. There is no need to register, just show up as life allows for either meeting.


Virtually: 10 - 11 a.m. Reminder that we switched over to Microsoft Teams for this meeting. If this is new to you, instructions can be found here on how to get set up. I will open the meeting early if you have any questions on how things work (commenting in chat, raising your hand, etc.).

In-Person: 5:30 - 7 p.m. In person at ADRC, 300 S Adams St, Green Bay. The agency will be closed for the day and the doors locked. Please come to the single door entrance (south side) and ring the doorbell. We will be watching and listening to let you in.

  • Future Planning Series - POA & Guardianship - Monday, 11/11/24. Join us as Mary Rose Orcutt, from Geimer & Orcutt Law, S.C. discusses what the financial power of attorney versus guardianship is. Learn when it can become effective (immediate power, springing power, hybrid), what type of authority it covers, when/how the power expires, how to choose an agent, and the fiduciary responsibility.  
  • Sheboygan Caregiver Conference - Thursday, 11/14/24. This conference is open to any caregiver in the state. If you can attend, cost is minimal ($8) for a day of information and the opportunity to connect with other caregivers.


  • Save the Date! Estate Planning 101 - Wills vs Trusts - Thursday, 12/5/24. The Future Planning Series finishes with Dan Walsh from One Law Group, S.C. By attending this class, you will learn about the essential tools and strategies needed to protect your assets and regain control over decisions that will impact you and your family's future.

Caregivers to those with Dementia

Caregiver Educational Opportunity  

National NIH-funded study testing an educational program for family caregivers of people with Parkinson’s Disease Dementia or Lewy Body Dementia. Family caregivers will gain weekly educational guidance through a 12-week curriculum with short readings, resources, and activities


All participation is virtual; there are NO in-person visits. Caregivers fill out surveys and assessments at baseline, and every two weeks for nine months.
