There is a cost to attend this virtual, 2-day conference ($250). If you attend the above session (Oct. 28), they will be giving away three free tickets for this conference.

Register before Nov. 1 to receive: Free pre- and post-conference events, recordings of all sessions for one year, and some conference giveaways.

Grandparents and Other Relatives Raising Children
New York City Department for the Aging Grandparent Empowerment Series

DFTA is currently recruiting grandparents and relative caregivers for their Grandparent Empowerment Series. Eligible participants must be:
  • Current grandparent or relative caregivers
  • Able to access an active email address
  • Use Zoom for the video call

Classes are held once a week on Zoom. All course materials are free.

This class is first come, first serve availability.

Program graduates take part in a virtual graduation ceremony and will receive a $50 stipend and certificate of achievement.
