AHFA HOME-ARP Draft Application Materials

HUD recently approved the AHFA HOME-American Rescue Plan (ARP). The HOME-ARP plan details the uses of this unique, affordable housing program. The Draft AHFA HOME-ARP Application forms and instructions are now available for review and comment.

Prospective applicants are encouraged to:

1. Review the HUD-approved AHFA HOME-ARP Plan and the draft application materials with respect to your proposed project.
2. Schedule a meeting with AHFA to discuss your proposed HOME-ARP project between now and May 12th. Be prepared to discuss the following:

• proposed HOME-ARP project (team, targeted QP(s), leveraging, etc.)
• project questions relative to the HOME-ARP Plan
• project questions relative to the application forms and instructions

These meetings are essential to developing well-crafted applications that comprehensively address the anticipated variety of housing and service needs for the HOME-ARP qualifying populations served by these proposed developments.

Please submit meeting requests (including your preferred date/time and the names of attendees) to dhoulditch@AHFA.com no later than May 8th.

Comments on the draft HOME-ARP Application materials must be ahfa.mf.application@AHFA.com before 5:00 pm on May 26th, 2023.
