And just like that, we've rolled into April! Here in PNW's blossoming spring, we've been following I-5 news with interest. Recent rains sent a landslide thundering onto the interstate near Bellingham, with boulders the size of buses left hanging precariously. We're grateful to the folks at the WA State Dept of Transportation, who have been working tirelessly to clear and reopen this major road. In the meantime, travelers and carriers alike are being safely rerouted.
It's been another vivid reminder of how quickly things can change in our industry, and how crucial it is to remain flexible and in community. Shout out to our shipping partners such as TBGFS who have handled this unexpected closure with graceful efficiency!
