Longtime MCEM team member Alice Busch has said farewell to the team at MCEM, having accepted an Emergency Management role with City of Gresham. Alice worked at MCEM for 13 years. She served in multiple roles, including Emergency Management Training and Exercise Officer.

Having worked through the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Alice organized a number of exercises that brought together regional response partners. Alice will be missed by the team at MCEM, who wishes her well in her new position. Follow Alice in her new pursuits by checking the City of Gresham's Emergency Management page.

MCEM is conducting a nationwide search for its next Training and Exercise Officer. This role will oversee the County's emergency management training and exercise program, including designing and delivering classes and workshops and leading an array of exercises to help build the County's emergency readiness. This position will also have opportunities to manage grant-funded projects, represent the County in regional and state committees, and contribute to a professionally diverse team. MCEM has a commitment to equitably serving communities in a human-services oriented jurisdiction.
