Cascadia Playbook V3

Oregon’s Office of Emergency Management developed a Cascadia Playbook concept to serve as a reference guide for how state agencies across Oregon will coordinate efforts during a major disaster. Version 3 of the Cascadia Playbook was published in October 2018 and incorporates lessons learned from the Cascadia Rising 2016 exercise and critical input from emergency support function partners.

The Cascadia Playbook V3 can be viewed here .

Congratulations to MCARES for taking 1 st  place in the Statewide ARES 2018 Fall SET ( Simulated Emergency Test ) MacGyver task! Multnomah ARES relayed a message via 10 hops which included a kayak trip on the Columbia River and bicycle ride as well as several amateur radio modes.  It was a great team effort and 31 members helped in the many roles of the relay.
