Happy November! I want to thank each and every one of you for being a part of our wonderful community here in Mulvane.

Our little town is a great place to call home because of the people, businesses and community organizations that work so hard to provide events & resources for everyone to enjoy!

I'm Brittany Kruger, the Director of the Mulvane Chamber of Commerce and I put this newsletter together every month. It's meant to be a resource for our community, local organizations and businesses to get the word out about all the amazing things happening in Mulvane.

Aaron Lewis

Friday, November 3 at 8 PM

at the Kansas Star Casino

Platinum-recording artist, Aaron Lewis, will perform at Kansas Star Casino on Friday, November 3. The musician will bring his most personal and unplugged work yet to the Arena as a stop on his highly anticipated 2023 acoustic tour.

Having recorded with George Jones, Willie Nelson, Charlie Daniels, Alison Krauss and Vince Gill, Lewis has put a traditionalist brand on his outlier country. His latest album, “Frayed At Both Ends,” makes for an intimate record that reflects his 2023 acoustic tour.  Game On.”

We are honoring 5 Mulvane community volunteers as well as 5 legacy awards for past Mulvane community service leaders. Dinner is included. Proceeds go toward the Mulvane Community Foundation and support efforts like the new mental health coalition- working to provide mental health support to community members in need.



Mulvane is made up of many wonderful people. Come celebrate past and present community service stars. Tickets are available at the Mulvane Historical Museum and The Mulvane News or by reaching out to the @mulvanecommunity tickets are $50 each and include dinner.

November 17 & 18

The Top 15 steer ropers in the PRCA based on PRCA | RAM World Standings at the end of the regular season head to their own national championship in Mulvane, Kansas. 

Doors open at 6:30pm, event starts at 7:30pm

Tickets are $30 plus taxes & convenience fees.

Have you heard about this year's Shop Small Saturday: Holiday Market???

This incredible event is happening right here in Mulvane at the Mulvane Middle School on Saturday, November 25 from 10 am to 3 pm! It's a great way to keep your money local and support these local artisans while finding unique gifts this holiday season!

Right now we have over 40 vendors registered, with more registering daily. We'll have outdoor vendors, a mobile spray-tanning booth, and so much more!

Alzheimer's & Dementia Caregiver Support Group

Thursday, November 30 at 6 PM

This event is hosted by Villa Maria, Inc. FREE Respite Care is provided during the meeting. The meeting takes place at the Mulvane Senior Center.

Support groups educate and inform participants about dementia and help participants develop methods and skills to solve problems.

MHS Theatre & Music presents Matilda, The Musical on November 9, 10, & 11th at 7 PM. Tickets: $7 Adults $5 Students

Chamber member, Chris Landis with Mary Kay, is getting ready for another year of Adopt a Grandparent for Christmas!

She will be delivering goodies to Maria Court, Villa Maria, Homestead of Derby, Brookdale Derby and Derby Assisted Living this year. Each gift is $15, and they will receive Mary Kay Unscented Shea Hand Cream with a cute Christmas gift, and sweets!!
