GROOT Resumes Bulk Waste Pick-Up
Effective May 11, Groot will resume collecting bulky items, construction debris, white goods, and e-waste. This is a reinstatement of existing service, so any such pickups are subject to normal fees and conditions. Groot reminds residents to please tightly tie/seal all bags. The State’s drive-thru Community-Based Testing Site in Waukegan at 2161 Northwestern Avenue can now accommodate 750 tests daily and has been averaging 550 tests per day. Cost for the test is FREE.
