Morris Township is among seven Morris County towns that have ranked in the top 100 Safest Communities in the Nation, according to Safewise.

The SafeWise annual national security review, listed Mount Olive ( #12 ), Washington Township ( #24 ), Jefferson Township ( #28 ), Randolph ( #33 ), Roxbury ( #40 ), Denville ( #46 ) and Morris Township ( #69 ) as towns that are the safest place to live in the U.S.

“This is an opportunity to recognize police officers, city officials, and neighborhood watch leaders for their efforts. It’s a great chance to shine a light on a municipalities continuing commitment to public safety,” said Safewise Communications Manager Sage Singleton.
