Update: Quick thoughts

It is almost 24 hours since the unprecedented attack on Israel from Gaza.

There are already recriminations about how something like this can happen. Stand back and remember a few things.

A. The war in 1973 Yom Kippur Israel had the intelligence that they were going to be attacked. In fact there was a ridiculous amount of intelligence. King Hussein flew to Israel to warn them of an impending attack. The head of Aman Elie Ziera Israel's war intelligence unit, had many indicators that Egypt was going to attack including a highly placed source in the very upper levels of Egypt that told them. war was coming.

Zeira and others ignored it. They did NOT believe that Egypt and Syria could do this. It was hubris, ego and incompetence that hurt Israel.

Today Israel is facing a much different challenge. The war Israel is facing in Gaza is the war they expected from Hezbollah in the north. Operationally Israel thought Hezbollah would capture towns, kidnap Israelis, hold territory. They may still however the war did not come from up north.

Lets wait to see how this plays out.

The problem Israel faces with the United States is once the pre placed weapons, armaments from the US are exhausted the United States weapon supplies are dangerously low due to Ukraine.

If war comes to the North which it looks like it will Israel will be forced to take THE most aggressive stance ever essentially destroying Lebanon.

Our Jewish community should be prepared for protests, threats from both the left and the right once the IDF does its job.

Holding a few lame rallies indoors at Jewish centers will not do much. We need to be vocal, aggressive. Time to see who our REAL friends are.

We need congregational meetings and plan for once.

Media strategies,preparation for the onslaught of hate coming at us. Trust me it is coming.

If you have been watching social media, twitter especially there has been a well funded campaign that has been ramping up this year against Israel. Hardly a peep out of our leaders. Censoring twitter is NOT the answer matching our enemies campaigns are.

They are hate filled, lies about the "occupation" Israel's blood lust for Palestinian children. Daily ethnic cleansing, apartheid, stealing water.

Occupation to them is the "Nakba" 1948. The narrative is Jews from Europe stole the COUNTRY Palestine and have occupied it since 1948

Many Jewish leaders, organizations, synagogues have fallen for this.

THIS WAR IS NOT ABOUT LAND IT IS ABOUT RELIGION AND A DEEP HEATED HATRED FOR JEWS AND THE WEST. DON'T KID YOURSELF.

WHEN THEY CHANT FROM THE RIVER TO THE SEA THEY ARE CALLING FOR ANOTHER HOLOCAUST. A JEW FREE MIDDLE EAST.

IT IS TIME AS A COMMUNITY WE STAND UP FOR THE BLESSING WE HAVE IN OUR GENERATION, ISRAEL.

I NEVER WANT TO WAKE UP AND SEE IMAGES OF WOMEN, CHILDREN, MOTHERS, GRANDMOTHERS BEING KIDNAPPED ON MOTORCYCLES AND SENT DIRECTLY TO THE PIT OF HELL (GAZA) AGAIN.

WIPE OUT HAMAS ,SEND A MESSAGE OF STRENGTH AND LET THE "NEIGHBORS" ( HEZBOLLAH AND IRAN) KNOW THAT WE, JEWS, ISRAEL ARE HERE TO STAY AND WE ARE UNITED.

October 7 50 years from the Yom Kippur War Israel is attacked again.

We are waking up to the horrors of Jews, Israelis being kidnapped and held hostage in Gaza.

Thousands upon Thousands of missiles are raining down on Israel as Jewish communities are facing terrorists hunting down Jews once again to murder them .

As if as Jews we need reminders TODAY CONFIRMS WHAT MANY HAVE BEEN SAYING NOW FOR YEARS. YOU CANNOT MAKE PEACE WITH ANIMALS, TERRORISTS SUBHUMANS.

AS THE GAZANS ARE GLEEFULLY SHOUTING ALLAHU AK BAR ( GOD IS GREAT) ISRAELI WOMEN, GRANDMOTHERS, SOLDIERS ARE BEING SLAUGHTERED ONCE AGAIN. HAVE WE NOT LEARNED OUR LESSON?

I WROTE THIS MONTHS AGO BUT MY DAILY WORRY ABOUT ISRAEL UNFORTUNATELY HAS COME TRUE.

SAD DAY FOR HUMANITY.

Israel under siege

Israel is now fighting a five-front war, Gaza (Hamas), Lebanon ( Hizbollah and Hamas), Syria, and now within Israel. They all have a common link, Iran is controlling and fomenting this war.

Last fall, I said there would be a ramping up of terror and “activity” from Israel's neighbors. I said this was all because Iran is getting closer to or has become a nuclear power. If you think they are waiting for a system to deliver it, guess again. Iran has close ties to North Korea, with deliverable nuclear weapons and a vast system of intercontinental missiles to launch them. They may not be as good as ours. They may not be as accurate as ours, but they have them.

We are all lulled to sleep in the past few weeks. 

 A partisan political District attorney in New York has indicted the former President of the United States. Nobody believes the case has any merit. 

There are daily battles over “transgender” rights.

There are the battles over “drag show story hours for elementary school children”.  

All of this “noise” covering up the most critical, dangerous time in recent memory for our country and Israel. 

The world order is changing right before our eyes. As you can imagine, it is not changing for the good of Western civilization and especially Israel. 

• Saudi Arabia has made peace with Iran. 
• Iran has reached out to Azerbaijan for the same. 
• Brazil and Saudi Arabia are trading with China in China's currency, NOT the U.S. dollar.
• There is talk of a deal with Iran, which would lock in Iran's gains. In my opinion, Obama's “third term” is dedicated to achieving this goal. 

All this is happening with our country is led by a hallowed out, barely conscious, corrupt meat puppet as President. 

Do you think the recent terror attacks are because Israel stormed Al Aqsa? Do you think it is the overlapping holidays of Passover, Easter, and Ramadan? Guess again. This is all a coordinated attack to distract the world and tie up Israel in a continuous battle. At the same time, Iran becomes a nuclear power and expands its revolution throughout the middle east. 

China is now rapidly becoming THE major international player whose influence has spread to the rest of the world. China is filling the vacuum left by our feckless Government. 

Our military is more concerned about properly using preferred pronouns and equity training than protecting our country and keeping us strong. They are having great difficulties signing up recruits. 

An endless war in Ukraine is depleting equipment and ammunition. 

Time to wake up. 

Here is what Israel should do. Since its founding in 1948, Israel's doctrine has been to make sure that they are technologically superior to its enemies since it will never have the strategic depth they do and will always be outnumbered. 

The Talmud says ha-ba le-horgekha, hashkem le-horgo – if someone comes planning to kill you, you should hurry to kill him first.

Israel ( Netanyahu) needs to do this immediately. 

Make a speech and delay the Judicial reform initiative indefinitely until this crisis ends. You cannot have half the country protesting in the streets while you are at war. 

Israel must take the initiative now and use whatever means are at its disposal short of all-out war to take the fight directly to Iran. 

Launch Cyber attacks on their electrical grid. 

More “accidents,” but this time against their oil industry, scientists, the IRGC, and even the leaders of their country. Iran needs to be on their heels. Today Iran can just push the buttons of their proxies without worrying about any ramifications on the home front. 

If you cripple Iran’s oil-producing capability, China will look elsewhere. They are tightening their relationship with the Saudis, and Iran has already tried to go after the Saudis oil producing capability. Iran’s recent rapprochement with Saudi Arabia reduces the chances of Iran retaliating against the Saudi oil fields. 

To put it simply, Israel must go on the offensive. Jewish communities need to be immediately educated on what is happening in Israel. Many have bought into the propaganda that the recent terror attacks are due to Al Aksa mosque being attacked, which is nonsense. They also blame the so-called “occupation,” 

Israel's enemies use the acronym DARVO as their strategy. 

Deny, Attack, Reverse, Victim, and Offender. 

Manipulators use it to evade accountability for the abuse they inflict on others. It is a blame-shifting tactic used for gaslighting in the context of emotional abuse. In this case, the “Palestinians” constantly use this tactic, and the world and many Jews fall for it. The victim becomes the abuser, and the abuser is the victim. 

• The United States needs a sane energy policy. Our natural gas is the cleanest in the world. 
• Ramp our production of oil up. 
• Stop the war against our energy producers, and build clean nuclear reactors. 

We cannot go cold turkey on fossil fuels. It is weakening our economy and our country. Saudi Arabia cut oil production by 500000 barrels a day. Inflation is going to get worse due to this.

Most importantly, whoever is President needs to form the modern equivalent of the Manhattan Project to invent sustainable energy that will not hurt the environment. 

Batteries depend on rare earth materials, and they still cause carbon emissions. Perhaps hydrogen, cold fusion, etc. 

We must unite the country to invent new technologies and forge a path forward. 

Israel is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year. We are privileged as Jews to have returned to the ancient land of our ancestors. Israel is a force for good. While not perfect, it is indeed a “light unto nations.” It is a country that has made the world a better place with its technology and medicine. 

As a people in this place in history, we have a special responsibility to keep The United States and Israel strong. We owe it to our children and their future generations. 

We must get active, send letters to the editor, and bombard the media with our voices. Use that supposed Jewish power the world always says that we have. 

We can and will win this battle, but we must be united.
